Professor Pankaj Chandra

Professor Pankaj Chandra is the Director of IIM Bangalore. He holds a BTech from Banaras Hindu University and a PhD from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He has taught at Mc Gill University, Montreal, University of Geneva, The Wharton School and IIM Ahmedabad. His areas of specializations are Manufacturing Management, Supply Chain Co-ordination, building technological capabilities and hi-tech entrepreneurship.

Professor Chandra has served as member of the GOI Committee on Clusters for Development of the Informal Sector. He was a member of the GOI Committee on Rejuvenation of Higher Education(Yashpal Committee). He is member of two steering Committees constituted by the Planning Commission of India. He is also a member of Central Advisory Board of Education. He serves as member of Telecom Regulatory Authority of India.

Professor Chandra has published extensively in International journals, serves on Editorial boards of several International journals and on the boards of several firms and institutions.


Dr. Torben Pedersen

Dr. Torben Pedersen, AIB Fellow, is the co-editor of Global Strategy Management and Advances in International Management, Review Board Member of Strategic Management Journal and International Business Review and also serves on numerous editorial boards. He is also the co-chair IAOP Nordic Chapter.

He has been a visiting scholar in Australia (UNSW), India (Park Global Business School), Italy (Bocconi University and Padova University), New Zealand (Auckland University), Spain (Valencia), Sweden (Gothenburg University) and USA (Stanford University).

Dr. Elizabeth Rose

IG Program Chair: Global Strategy

Dr Elizabeth L Rose is Professor of International Business at Department of Management, University of Otago, New Zealand. Most recently, Dr Rose was Professor of International Business at Aalto University School of Economics, having previously held appointments at the University of Southern California and the University of Auckland and Victoria University of Wellington. She holds a BSE from Princeton University and an MSE, an AM, and a PhD from the University of Michigan. Her work has been published in a variety of outlets, including the Strategic Management Journal. In addition to serving on the editorial review boards of several journals, she has been a member of the Academy of International Business, Farmer dissertation award committee, and currently serves on the research committee for the Academy of Management's International Management division. Elizabeth Rose is also the founding chair of the AIB's Australia and New Zealand chapter, served two terms as president of the Australia and New Zealand International Business Academy, and has just completed a two-year term as president of the Association of Japanese Business Studies.

A specialist in International Business, Beth's work has been published in a variety of top-tier international journals, including the Journal of International Business Studies, Management International Review and Strategic Management Journal. Her research productivity has been recognised with appointments to editorial review boards of some major journals, including Journal of International Business Studies, and to committees charged with selecting the year’s best doctoral research for both the Academy of International Business and the International Management Division of the Academy of Management.

In addition to serving on the editorial review boards of several journals, Beth is currently a member of the Academy of International Business (AIB) executive as Vice President, and is Programme Chair for the Strategic Management Society's Global Strategy interest group. She is the founding Chair of the Australia and New Zealand Chapter of the AIB, and immediate past President of both the Australia and New Zealand International Business Academy (ANZIBA) and the Association of Japanese Business Studies (AJBS). She currently chairs the Research Committee of the International Management Division of the Academy of International Business.


Milind Kamat

Milind Kamat is the Executive Vice President & Chief Executive Officer, Atos India – Milind Kamat has been appointed as EVP & CEO of Atos in India. Atos is the new European IT Champion formed after the integration of Atos Origin and Siemens IT Solutions and Services on 1st July 2011.

Milind is an Electrical Engineering graduate from Mumbai University and has also completed his MBA in Financial Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management, Mumbai. Milind had a long stint with CMC a TCS group company where he was leading the Financial services business for National and International clients. After serving 16 years in Financial services Milind joined Origin, which was later acquired by Atos and became Atos Origin, where he worked in different roles from Program Management , Service Practice Management, Sales and Marketing to General Management . Later he took over as the Chief Executive Officer of Atos Origin in 2007. Milind has over 31 years of rich experience in the IT services industry in India.

John Dineen  

John Dineen is the President and CEO of GE Healthcare, a $17 billion segment of General Electric Company and the first GE business headquartered outside of the United States. GE Healthcare provides transformational medical technologies and services that are shaping a new age of patient care. With expertise in diagnostic imaging, healthcare IT and the life-sciences, GE Healthcare's broad range of products and services enable healthcare providers to better diagnose and treat cancer, heart disease, neurological diseases, and other conditions earlier. John was appointed to his current role in July 2008.

From 2005, John served as President and CEO of GE Transportation, a $4.5 billion global leader in the rail, mining, marine, drilling and wind industries.

John joined GE in 1986 as a telecommunications engineer in Rockville, Maryland. He has held a variety of leadership positions at GE, both in the U.S. and worldwide, including general manager of Plastics at GE Advanced Materials; general manager of the Power Equipment business in Plainville, Connecticut; general manager of the Meter business in Somersworth, New Hampshire; general manager of the Microwave and Air-conditioning businesses in Louisville, Kentucky; manager of finance for GE Asia in Hong Kong and President of GE Plastics Pacific.

He has served in various assignments in Corporate Finance, and most recently he served as vice president and general manager of Plastics at GE Advanced Materials.

John is a graduate of the University of Vermont where he earned bachelor's degrees in Biological Sciences and Computer Science.
